We’re pleased that MythBehaving, our literary podcast, has had so many awesome guests! From Tim Powers to David Brin to Lisa Brackmann, we’ve had a great time. Plus I’ve learned so very much over the last eight months. We have a lot more special guests coming up in the future, so be sure to subscribe and stay informed.

In the Spotlight – Terry Reid

Contrary to what the picture may imply, I’m not interviewing a dragon today. Of course anyone who knows me knows I adore dragons and would love to interview one. Well, one of the ones that don’t munch on people. But today I have an even better guest, the camera-shy author, Terry Reid. She sent me the lovely dragon to represent her. Works for me. Today we’ll be chatting about her novel, Crashing Down to Earth.

 

 

About Terry Reid

Terry is a new writer who is based in Dumfries, south west Scotland. She primarily writes science fiction/fantasy novels and has published two books to date. When she’s not writing, she  enjoy running. She’s  completed two half marathons for charity and will likely do more in the future. Terry also enjoys playing video games. She reviews books for other indie authors on her blog in her spare time and usually posts a review once a week.

Authors Join to Give Away Books for Benefit

On August 23, 2013, Colby Marshall will be hosting Trade the Day, a benefit for Team Alaina, a fundraising team for Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night event. Alaina is a friend’s daughter who has been diagnosed with leukemia. Colby has organized a blog-a-thon with numerous authors participating in giveaways, guest posts and spotlights to benefit Alaina’s own fundraising team. In the meantime, many authors (including yours truly) will be featured on Colby’s blog. In the Spotlight – Clovia Shaw

Getting to interview Clovia Shaw is extra specially cool for me. Clovia is the friend who wrote the beginning of my author bio. The one that I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on and I’ve always said I couldn’t take the credit because it came from two other authors. Well, Clovia wrote the first part of it and I finally get to give her the credit she deserves. So thanks, Clovia! You rock, which of course, I already knew. Now I get to share some things about this clever friend and her intriguing debut novel, Nogitsune.

About Clovia Shaw

Clovia Shaw is an ordained Dudeist Priest (who can resist an Ordain Me! button?), a collector of Urban Vinyl art toys, and once designed a line of elongated pennies for belly dancers. She has degrees in both Journalism and Interior Design, and is probably thinking really hard about putting actual pants on right now.

A big fan of Kissing Books in which things blow up, Clovia lives in Annapolis, with her very patient husband and the ghost of a very good dog.

April Bostic is a New Jersey-based romance author who enjoys unleashing her creativity and letting her imagination run wild.
