Dreamscape

After years of protecting Dreamscape from the tyranny of the evil king, and fighting for their freedom, the rebellion’s last hope lies with the Golden Hero. When the enchantment brings Alexis Stone from the real world, both get more than they bargained for.

Alexis realizes too late that in this fantasy world, the consequences and enemies are real. When the stakes rise, surviving the dangerous game may be easier than facing her feelings. Can she help the rebellion’s cause, or will the difference between their worlds prove deadly?

And if she does succeed, who will rescue her?

The Pirate Princess

BY HONOR ALONE

A handsome war hero, Prince Petra can have his pick of any lady in the kingdom. A man of virtue, he’s saved himself for just the right one. But when the corrupt emperor of Isa Vis kidnaps a duke’s daughter to force her into an alliance, Petra sacrifices himself—and his dreams of love—to save her. Betrothing himself to the distant captive, he leads a daring rescue across the stormy South Sea.

But The Light has other plans. On the voyage, Petra runs afoul of Charlee. Once a prisoner, now a pirate captain, the sultry siren holds him captive with more than just her sword. And when she offers a seductive wager—if he takes her body before they reach the City of Light, she wins absolution for her crimes—it is all he can do to hold firm. While he has every reason to bring Charlee to justice, he’s also finally found a woman he wants more than honor. And he can no more trust her than he can trust himself.

The Writing Process Blog Hop

Book Fort Trea1

One of the perks of writing is to be able to create book forts. This was my first one with my debut novel, Relics, and my chihuahua, Tréa. It symbolizes what I do in a unique (and fun) way. So how did I get invited to this blog hop? Why, through the author Larry Crane! Let’s find out some more about him. 🙂

Larry Crane

AuthorPicZTransplanted to Maine mid-westerner Larry Crane brings a Heartland sensibility to his writing. Larry graduated from West Point, served in the Army, and commuted to Wall Street from New Jersey. His writing includes articles for outdoor magazines, stage plays, short fiction, and his most recent thriller novel, A Bridge to Treachery. Crane is a volunteer videographer for his local Public Access Television Station. Larry and wife Jan now live on the coast of Maine.

Larry is also the author of Baghdad on the Wabash and Other Plays and Stories, an unconventional collection of stories that capture “slice of the life” looks at quirky couples. Both are available at Amazon.

Last week Larry talked about his own writing process on his blog. Be sure to check that out!

Spotlight Blue

Lynne Cantwell

As part of this ultra cool tour, today’s special guest is Lynne Cantwell. Lynne is celebrating the release of a new series, Land, Sea, Sky. It’s exciting to see this new series from the author of the popular series, The Pipe Woman Chronicles.

Lynne Cantwell

lynne-cantwell

Lynne Cantwell has been writing fiction since the second grade, when the kid who sat in front of her showed her a book he had written, and she thought, “I could do that.” The result was Susie and the Talking Doll, a picture book, illustrated by the author, about a girl who owned a doll that not only could talk, but could carry on conversations. The book had dialogue but no paragraph breaks. Today, after a twenty-year career in broadcast journalism and a master’s degree in fiction writing from Johns Hopkins University (or perhaps despite the master’s degree), Lynne is still writing fantasy. In addition, she is a contributing author at Indies Unlimited.
