One of my favorite characters to write in Relics is Juliet, a goblin accidentally left on Earth for over 50 years. When the portals open and the magical races come back to Earth, Juliet has the chance to be reunited with her mate.

This quote take place when Juliet is shape-shifted as a chihuahua and watching TV with her owner. As the TV cameras capture a portal opening in Bavaria, Juliet sees her husband step through and return to Earth.

So if you were going to shape shift into a dog, which one would you choose? Juliet always chose small dogs such as chihuahuas, toy poodles and Yorkies. I think those are the ones I’d pick, too. 🙂
